Pre-Owned Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio for Sale in Westport, CT

Are you looking for an SUV that blends luxury, style, and heart-racing performance? Do you want something more than just utility? The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio delivers all of that—and more. It’s not just an SUV; it’s a statement.

If you’re considering a pre-owned Stelvio Quadrifoglio, go to Alfa Romeo of Westport, Connecticut. You’ll get this version special: from its engine, handling, comfort features, tech, and overall driving character. Let’s explore what puts this high-end model in a class of its own.

What Is the Stelvio Quadrifoglio?

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is the performance halo trim of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. “Quadrifoglio” means “four-leaf clover” in Italian, and this emblem has long symbolized Alfa Romeo’s racing pedigree. The Quadrifoglio trim is top-tier: more power, sharper handling, upgraded brakes, sporty styling inside and out.

While regular Stelvio models are already elegant and fun to drive, the Quadrifoglio elevates the experience, blurring the line between sporty sedan and performance SUV. It offers both everyday usability and track capability or spirited driving for those who like to push the limits.

Engine & Powertrain

At the core of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, you’ll find a potent 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, developed with input from Ferrari technologies.

  • Output: About 505 horsepower
  • Torque: Around 443 lb-ft delivered starting from low rpm (≈2,500 rpm) for strong low-end and mid-range performance.
  • Engine design includes a mix of port/direct injection, twin turbos, and lightweight materials (aluminum block, etc.) to balance performance with weight.

This powerplant is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which offers sharp responsiveness, especially in sporty or Race modes. Paddle shifters allow driver control when desired.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio uses an all-wheel drive system (Q4 AWD), which helps to distribute torque between front and rear axles. In many driving conditions, most of the power goes to the rear to preserve a more rear-wheel drive feel. When a slip is detected, the system can send torque to the front.

Performance & Driving Dynamics

Performance numbers for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio are impressive:

  • 0–60 mph (0-100 km/h) in around 3.6 seconds
  • Top speed is approximately 176 mph (≈ 283 km/h).

What about handling and ride? The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is engineered for agility:

  • It has a sophisticated suspension layout: double wishbone in front, multi-link in back. These help maintain grip and poise through curves.
Steering is often praised as sharp and precise, informing the driver well while cornering. Reviewers say it “steers like a sports car on stilts.”
  • Weight is kept in check compared to rivals through the use of lightweight components like aluminum and carbon fiber, where possible.

Fuel economy is naturally lower in performance trims. For combined driving, you can expect around 19 mpg. City driving drops, highway can be a bit better.

Dimensions, Cargo, & Practicality

Despite its performance DNA, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio remains usable day-to-day.

  • Seating is for five passengers. Front seats are sporty and well-bolstered. Rear seats offer reasonable comfort, though legroom may be less generous than in larger SUVs.
  • Approximately 18.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. Fold those down and you get more space for larger items.
  • Exterior length is about 185.1 inches; width is about 77 inches; height is roughly 66.3 inches. Again, these figures vary slightly depending on markets or specific option packages.

These dimensions allow the Stelvio Quadrifoglio to balance its sporty character with everyday usability. It fits in urban garages, handles highways, and offers enough cargo for weekend bags.

Exterior Style & Design

Alfa Romeo is known for bold, expressive design, and the Quadrifoglio version of the Stelvio leans into that. Some key stylistic points:

  • Aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes, signature “V” grille with the Alfa Romeo badge, and sporty accents.
  • Distinctive wheels: large alloy wheels (often 20-inch or larger), with performance tires.
  • Carbon fiber and aluminum details in many markets: hood, doors, and mirror caps may feature lighter materials or special finishes.
  • Signature Quadrifoglio badging is visible on the front fenders. Brakes often come in contrasting colors (red or matte, etc.) in many trims.

These design touches do more than just look good—they also signal performance.

Interior & Comfort

Inside the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, you get a blend of luxury, sportiness, and technology. Key interior features include:

  • Premium materials such as leather, Alcantara (suede-like), sometimes carbon fiber, or aluminum trim. Seats are supportive, often with bolstering to secure occupants during spirited driving.
  • An 8.8-inch touchscreen is standard in newer versions, with navigation and connectivity options.
  • Digital gauge cluster, with different display modes (Race, Heritage, Relax, etc.) depending on the driving mode and selections.
  • Premium audio available with multiple speakers and subwoofers for high-quality sound.
  • Other features include wireless phone charging, modern safety, driver assist tech, ambient lighting, etc., depending on options and trim.

Comfort is high for its performance level, long drives are reasonably pleasant, though the sport seats can be firmer than those of luxury-focused SUVs.

Safety & Driver Assistance

Being a high-performance SUV, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio also includes many safety and driver-aid features to help manage its power and provide peace of mind:

  • Systems like forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and traffic sign recognition are typical.
  • Adaptive cruise control may be available in higher spec or added packages.

Of course, higher performance means that driver skill and tire condition matter more than average. But the safety tech helps make the Quadrifoglio more usable in varied everyday situations.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.

Posted Notice Requirement

Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties

Civil and Criminal Penalties

As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.

Required Written Notices

If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
